#GivingTuesday™ (#GT) is a movement created to celebrate giving on the Tuesday following Cyber Monday.
The fifth annual GivingTuesday is happening today, November 29th. In the same way that the retail sector takes part in Cyber Monday, the giving community comes together for a day of giving back! This season has become so much about commercialism there is now a whole day around the world devoted just to giving back. We started 2016 with a wonderful celebration as we welcomed our little girl into the world on January 14th. Parenthood has been a rollercoaster of emotions with great days and learning days. We have made it through her colic and tummy issues, teething, crawling, eating solid foods and her first steps all this year. It is so fun when we look back at pictures to see all of her development and changes as she has grown. We have felt so blessed to have Sophia in our family and are very thankful everyday for our funny, energetic, strong-willed, smart, beautiful, inquisitive and loving baby girl.
Throughout this year we have been learning how to do full-time ministry and travel with our new family of 3. We have seen the Lord move in power during ministry in Kansas City, Peoria and Colorado. Adam has been writing on his blog and leading a weekly men’s small group at our home. One of his prayers has been to disciple some of the men in his sphere of influence, and he has seen God answer that prayer. We had a Plumbline retreat in Colorado that was both refreshing and encouraging as we connected with friends, other staff members and the Lord. I had the opportunity to speak at a ladies’ tea at my parent’s church and Adam spoke the following evening during their Sunday night service. We also ministered at Oasis Church in Illinois several times, which is led by our dear friends Joe & Angela Hawkins. We were thankful for all of the opportunities we had to minister throughout this year, and we are already planning events for 2017. Please join us in praying for the Lord to guide our ministry opportunities in the coming year.
We cannot express how much each of you mean to us, and the love and kindness that you have shown to us is a blessing. May the Lord reveal Himself through the blessings, favor, love and joy that He gives to you and your family as you seek His face.

Partnership Update for November/December
We have 70% of our monthly budget pledged, and we are needing to raise an additional $1000 per month.
We consider those who join us in prayer and finances as part of our ministry team. If we had 10 people join us at $100 a month we would be fully financially supported as a family. No gift is too small, and we are thankful for every donation that we have received. We are also growing our prayer team because we understand prayer is a vital foundation for everything we do in life and in ministry. ~ Pray for grace in learning how to parent Sophia and for her overall health and safety as she is learning to walk. She has a cyst on her left hand that we are hoping will go down.
~ Pray for Kelli's hands, wrists and feet to be healed. The tendons are still in pain following the pregnancy.
~ Pray for revelation, inspiration and timing as Kelli writes her book.
~ Pray for time management and wisdom as Kelli and Adam work from home while raising a little one.
~ Pray for more regular and monthly partners to join us as our family and budget has grown.
~ Safety as we travel and minister in many different places.
~ Protection, growth and favor in our marriage and family.
~ Pray for the Lord to open doors to build a larger
community of friends in Kansas City.
~ Ask the Lord to guide Adam as he seeks to disciple
some young men on a regular basis, including the men's discipleship group.
~ Pray that the Lord will continue to teach us to hear His
voice and follow. We want to live with excellence
and obedience.
