We are back from Kenya and we are so thankful for all that the Lord did on our trip. On our way to Kenya we had one hiccup where a team member was almost kept from boarding our connection in Belgium, but we were able to resolve the issue and made it safely to Nairobi. Upon arriving in Nairobi and staying overnight, we traveled to Ndhiwa, which is on the western side near Lake Victoria. Our team of 10 held a training conference in the morning through the early afternoon for pastors, leaders and people who wanted to grow in the things of The Lord. Simultaneously part of our team worked with the children, teaching them about Jesus and having fun. In the afternoons we held open-air meetings along the main road, and thousands of people would gather to see the worship leaders, dancers and to listen to us share the good news about Jesus. Each evening we held revival services to encourage the local believers. We saw the Lord show up with miracles and salvation in droves, with approximately 250 coming to the Lord and 16 healings. One woman could barely walk, see or hear and after praying with her multiple times she was walking easily, seeing much farther away and hearing without difficulty! Another young adult named Elijah confessed on the mic that he was a sinner and would stop organizing youth as a politician for Satan's purposes and start serving God.
We traveled to two churches that meet in the open, one under tarps and the other under a sycamore tree. They were so thankful for us to visit them, and it was moving to see the Lord working among them. Our next stop was Kisii, which is a large city about an hour and a half from Ndhiwa. We stayed in the town at a Catholic compound and traveled into the village each day for similar meetings as above Wednesday through Saturday. We saw around 750 people come to the Lord and have 72 documented testimonies of healing or deliverances. Participants of the conference in each village received certificates, which was around 200 people. We distributed Bibles in English, Swahili, Kisii and Luo languages because many pastors and leaders do not have enough money to purchase them. We also gave away Christian books, reading glasses, clothes and toys & supplies for the children. Thank you all for changing so many lives and partnering with us in prayer!
