We are so happy to announce that we are having a little girl in January. We are going into the third trimester and everything is going well. We have had a few sonograms and our little bean likes to squirm and move. Kelli is still having morning sickness and the gestational diabetes has been trying on her body. In the midst of her not feeling great we are thankful that the baby is growing well. The baby kicks when I sing to her, make noises and talk to her, which is so fun!
Mount Princeton, Colorado
Late September and October Recap
Our first Plumbline retreat in Nathrop, Colorado just outside of Buena Vista was a success. There were around 25 of us that spent time with the Lord in the mountains, relaxed in the natural hot springs and fellowshipped with each other. Our relationships grew, we prayed for one another and the Holy Spirit refreshed our bodies, hearts and spirits as we connected with Him and each other.
After a day back in KC, I traveled with Brian and Josh Fenimore to Rochester, Minnesota for a gathering of pastors and leaders that are connected together through a network called Global Legacy. We worshiped together, heard great teaching from 4 people (one of whom was Brian) and ministered to each other through prayer and as we built relationships. It was a blessing to see so many different churches and ministries coming together in unity and strengthening one another.
Working Around the House
In October we spent more time in Kansas City preparing for our little baby on the way. My (Adam's) parents came down to help us paint the nursery, build a gate on our fence and my dad replaced our sunken and cracked porch and driveway. One of his sub-contractors drove from Illinois to help us and a friend get the work done. We are truly thankful for the great job they did.
The weekend before Thanksgiving (November 21st-22nd) we will ministering in Peoria at multiple locations.
On Saturday, November 21st we will be at Bradley Epworth Church from 10:00-11:30 AM teaching at the Encounter God Saturday service. Following our teaching, there is lunch, prayer, worship, prophetic rooms and healing prayer through 4:00 PM.
