Adventures in April
April was full of exploration, family time, ministry and traveling. Early in the month we ventured to Portland, Oregon to visit my (Adam’s) sister Melissa and her boyfriend Mike. My parents were already there and we enjoyed time together at the Oregon coast in a town called Manzanita. The water was too cold for swimming, but we had a lot of fun on the beach together. We also saw where The Goonies, Kindergarten Cop and Free Willy were filmed in Astoria. Our visit to Portland was full of things to do, places to eat and our time there was blessed!

Bethel Church in Redding, California
Kelli and I then journeyed into California through the Redwood Forest where we were in awe of those majestic trees! The California Pacific Highway was beautiful, as was the landscape of Oregon along the way. We spent several days at Bethel Church in Redding, California. We have been impacted by their ministry, teachings and worship for years, so it was a blessing to visit and be ministered to throughout the weekend. Some of the highlights were meeting and hearing Bill Johnson in person, hearing Kris Vallotton teach, worshipping along with thousands of people, being prayed for and we even saw the Lord heal a few things in our bodies. We were also able to spend time with our friends Sam Miller and Tracy Pintar from Illinois that are a part of the Bethel community in Redding.
Colorado Ministry Trip
We were in KC for one evening before voyaging to join our staff in Colorado. We had powerful times with the Lord and each other at a day retreat, small groups, seminars and ministering at a food bank during our week and a half together as Plumbline team.
