Breaking Update on Kenya
As many of you know we have been raising support for our September mission trip to Kenya. It has been amazing to see the Lord move and supply the finances for us to go to the mission field. As the world has watched the horrible out break of the Ebola Virus in Western Africa, our team has been in prayer for wisdom and guidance regarding our trip. Nairobi, Kenya is one of the larger cities for transportation in Eastern Africa with over 70 flights a week headed into Western Africa. Recently the World Health Organization has put Kenya on high risk for a possible outbreak. We have also been closely following the increase in daily numbers of new cases and the spreading of the illness east towards Kenya. Our director Brian Fenimore and the board of Plumbline Ministries have met and decided the wisest choice for our team is to postpone our trip until the outbreak has been contained and controlled. We are all saddened by this news but feel the peace of the Lord as we have prayerfully made this decision. All of our financial support for this trip will be put into our missions fund and will be saved until we are able to go to Kenya. We are looking into rescheduling our trip sometime in the spring of 2015. Please continue to keep the people of Africa in your prayers as they are trying to contain this horrible virus that has left a wake of devastation in so many communities. Thank you so much for partnering with us, we feel very blessed to have the support and prayers of our friends and family.
Summer fun during July!
July was full of travel, ministry and fun. The month began celebrating one of my favorite holidays watching the fireworks on blankets next to the Missouri River with friends in KC.
In the middle of July we went with Brian on a ministry trip, joining the staff in Colorado. Adam and I attended Brian’s monthly meetings, one of the PRC (Plumbline Renewal Community) small groups, and spent time with friends, both old and new. What an encouragement to see what the Lord is doing in and through them out in Colorado!
At the end of the month we headed to Illinois and had time with our family, friends, and supporters. We also had the opportunity to minister to the Acts Group at Glad Tidings. It is always a blessing to fellowship with this group of seasoned believers.
Kenya Trip 2015
Plumbline is still looking at going to Western Kenya in the spring of 2015 to train leaders and pastors, hold open air evangelistic meetings and lead revival services. Last year our team of 10 saw over 1000 people come to the Lord and had over 80 documented healings and miracles. We are currently building this team and we are asking you and others to pray about joining us on the ground in Kenya. You can joini us through prayer and/or by giving financially for this trip. Our heart is to equip, strengthen and bless the people that we have the opportunity to minister to the amazing people of Kenya.
Thank you for reading our update and partnering with us. May you be richly blessed for your obedience to the Lord and generosity!
In Christ,
Adam and Kelli Moser
