 Hi friends! September is coming to an end and we are thankful for what the Lord has been doing. We recently finished some house projects and repairs that have helped make our new place more like “home” as well as functioning better.  

 Our “Unlocking Your Destiny” seminar in August went well, and we received positive feedback from the attendees. One friend felt it helped bring clarity for his future and direction in life. We also had a blessed time ministering at the Greater Peoria House of Prayer. We will continue to connect with them and other people and ministries to see unity, prayer and intimacy with Jesus lifted up as an anthem in Central Illinois.

 In the middle of September we attended the Morton Pumpkin Festival. We saw many friends and family members, and the Lord gave us a few divine appointments where we were able to minister and encourage hearts. I (Adam) also had the opportunity to attend a conference at Trinity Church in Morton on the Kingdom of God, and it was a great time of ministry and encounters with God.

 In October I will be traveling to Nashville for a training seminar. I hope to connect with several friends and ministry contacts while I am there. If you are in Nashville, feel free to reach out. 

Uncommon Gifts: The Spiritual Gifts No One Talks About

​The gifts of the Holy Spirit in 1 Corinthians 12 & 14 have been taught on at length, but several have been taught on very little. We want to bring clarity and instruction on how God wants to use these gifts in our lives and how to begin to walk in them. 

This one-day seminar is going to bring bring Biblical instruction and practical application in the following areas:
- Understanding the gift of faith and how God gives us to believe Him for greater things.
- Understanding the gift of discernment and how to begin to grow in this gift. 
- Learning how to function in the gift of interpretation of tongues.
- And much more! 

At the end of the day you will be activated and empowered to walk closer in relationship with God and in the power of His might!

The Big Move and Big Transition
It has been a busy spring for our family. We started out April celebrating my (Kelli) birthday. We had a great week having family time at the zoo, watching Sophia’s first movie, and having a wonderful dinner out together. 
 Selah is starting to “talk” and giggle more each day and Sophia loves to chat with her and give her lots of kisses. It has been so much fun watching their sister bond grow through the months. I pray they will be each other’s best friend and greatest support as they grow up. We know the Lord has big plans for our little girls. 

 Praise the Lord we sold our house in KC after only two days on the market!  We then found a new home in Morton within the next few days. We have been  getting our house ready for the new owners and finalizing all the paperwork for both homes. We were busy packing up our house, saying goodbye to friends, and doing a few last fun things in KC before we moved at the end of May. We moved into our new house on June 1st.

Selah Grace Moser is here!
 On December 28th at 5:28 PM Selah Grace Moser (pronounced Say-la) came into this world. She was 8 lbs. 6 oz. and was 20 3/4” long.  All 4 grandparents and Adam’s sister and her boyfriend joined us in Kansas City for her birth and to celebrate a late Christmas. Sophia is adjusting to being a big sister and is very sweet with Selah. She is learning how to “help” us with tasks with the baby and around the house. We are learning what our new normal looks like as a family of four.

​​MOVING TO ILLINOIS!!
 We are excited to announce that in the Spring or early Summer of 2018 we will be moving back to the Central Illinois area. Central Illinois will be our ministry base and "hub", and we will travel out to other locations from there. We are primarily looking for homes in Morton, Washington and East Peoria. If you know of anyone that is planning on selling their home, let us know and we can see if it would be the right fit. We are in the process of preparing our house in Kansas City to be sold. We have friends in KC that we are going to miss, but our plan is to visit and minister with them in the future. Please pray for the right timing, right deal and a smooth transition as we make these big life changes for our family and ministry.

New Baby GIRL Coming & New Ministry in the Works!
 Wow, what a year!  We have enjoyed watching Sophia grow into a busy, funny, smart and loving toddler.  Everyday we have seen her learn and explore the world around her and it has been amazing to experience life through her little eyes. In May we were excited to find out we were expecting another baby due to arrive in January 2018.  Sophia is going to be a wonderful big sister and we cannot wait to see both of our girls growing up and playing.   
 It has been so good to see Adam have the opportunity to mentor young men throughout this year and see him build deep friendships with each of them. He has also worked diligently to create his own teaching materials on biblical finances and personal destiny.
I have been working on both of my books in-between taking care of Sophia and battling a lot of nausea with this pregnancy. I have also been working on creating my own teachings for future ministry opportunities. 

New Ministry!
For several months Adam and I have felt the Lord leading us to start a new ministry. We will remain on part time staff with Plumbline as we launch out in this endeavor. You will be receiving more details as we get everything set up and registered. Please pray for favor as we seek the Lord's guidance and direction in every aspect.

We're having a GIRL!
 
Kelli entered the third trimester of the pregnancy in October. We are excited for our little GIRL that is coming our way!  Please pray for peace in Kelli’s body as the morning sickness and various pains have been difficult.  Sophia went through a second bout of the chickenpox (the first was a light case), and thankfully she has gotten better. Hopefully she will be immune for the rest of her life!
The Money Smart: Focus & Freedom seminar in Kansas City went well, and the feedback I received was positive. One attendee told me that he believed the section on automobiles and stewardship could be it's own standalone seminar. I am continuing to hone and develop the material for future events and teachings. I traveled to Rochester, Minnesota for a Global Legacy leaders’ conference. I was blessed by the fellowship, prayers and the messages I heard while there. I am seeing the Lord transform the young men I am mentoring in many different ways and I am thankful that I can have the honor to speak into their lives. One of them has moved into a new ministry role and another is maturing and growing in life. 

We were able to enjoy a free day at the Kansas City Zoo and Sophia got to see many of the animals in person that she has been learning the noises to over the last several months. In the middle of October we met my (Adam's) parents in the Ozarks for a nice weekend on the lake and spending together. ​

 In late October we were blessed with the opportunity to teach on the topic of destiny, calling and purpose at ACE Teams in Peoria. Kelli is an ACE team graduate and I was involved with the ACE teams for many years as they helped with Riverside Community Church's youth group. The pictures below are from each of us teaching the ACE teams at the Dream Center Peoria. We also held an event to thank our prayer and financial partners, and we were grateful for everyone that was able to attend. ​

In the Money Smart: Focus and Freedom seminar you will be given the tools to understand your money personality, assess your financial condition, get on the road to financial freedom and start achieving the goals that you have for you and your family. A new added section will also cover how to save money when it comes to automobiles. We will cover strategies that will be beneficial for anyone, including the following scenarios: Living paycheck to paycheck, having trouble seeing eye to eye with your spouse about finances, Someo, a penny pincher or even those that are their way to becoming a millionaire!

AMENITIES: There is no admission cost for the event, and an offering will be taken to help cover the expenses and bless the ministry team. There will be door prizes and refreshments.

June in the Rearview

  We are expecting!!! In January of 2018 we will be adding another bundle of joy to our family. Kelli is into her second trimester, and the reports and sonograms have been good. Sophia turned 18 months old on July 14th, and she is continuing to explore and grow daily. She loves to be chased by us, giggle, and carry on conversations with recognizable words mixed with babble

 The second weekend of June Plumbline’s director Brian Fenimore came to Peoria and we taught several sessions on hearing God’s voice and the prophetic at different venues. Many people received personal ministry from us and were strengthened by the teachings. We had a very full trip and apologize if we were not able to see you in person. 

Upcoming Events & News
 In the next month or two we will be hosting a Money Smart: Focus & Freedom seminar in Kansas City with at least one new session in addition to the existing teachings. Please pray for all of the details as they come together and for the right location. ​At the beginning of May Adam and several staff members from Plumbline went to Rochester, Minnesota and were blessed to hear Danny Silk (pictured above) teach on leadership, relationships and healthy community. We also celebrated the National Day of Prayer a few days later, joining with thousands of groups praying across the country.

Spring is Here!

Hello friends!
We are thankful for the beautiful weather that we have enjoyed over the last two months in Kansas City. March began with our preparations for the Peoria ministry trip and traveling there. We had around 80 people join us for the Plumbline seminar on Growing in Your Prophetic Gift at Riverside Community Church. It went splendidly, and we saw many people encouraged in their walk with Jesus. I spoke on the topic of confirming God’s voice, both in our own lives and as we pray for one other. Our director Brian also spoke several sessions and at both Sunday morning services at Riverside. On Sunday night I spoke at Oasis Church on the 4 keys to walking out your destiny. After the message Kelli and I prayed for several people while wearing Sophia in a baby carrier :) We were thankful that the Lord ministered through us and He touched people’s hearts, and we heard reports that God used our prayers to confirm what He was doing in those people's lives. ​

  The next weekend we had friends that came up from Dallas to visit us in Kansas City. They ate BBQ, toured the town, hung out with us and spent time seeking God in the prayer room. It was great to catch up with Justin and get to know his girlfriend Jordan. We had fun watching them play and interact with Sophia, and they fell in love with her :) 
  At the end of March Kelli and I hosted some friends at our house for the Unwavering conference put on by the International House of Prayer. We were ministered to by the speaker’s messages and we were impacted as we listened, worshiped together and prayed for one another. ​

  In May several of the Plumbline staff are going to a Global Legacy leader's event in Rochester, Minnesota. Pray for the Lord to move on our hearts and to continue to guide us along. We will also be in Illinois towards the end of May, so stay tuned for more updates as they come together. ​

​Monthly Recap

My parents visited us for a long weekend around the Super Bowl, and it was exciting to play with Sophia and be able to "tag out" like the professional wrestlers do. We talk to all 4 grandparents through video chat regularly, and it's fun to see her connecting with family as she runs around the room and kisses the phone. 

 We held a seminar here in Kansas City on street evangelism and miracles in the middle of February, and the response was positive. One attendee had wrist pain, was prayed for, and then she was able to push-ups pain free. Another girl had scoliosis (a curvature in her back), and was healed after she received prayer. Later in the month we had a trip planned to Iowa, but a snowstorm came through and we had to postpone it until a later date. 

Partnership Update for February
 We had a few new partners join us and some stop, so we are maintaining around 70% of our monthly budget pledged. We are still asking the Lord to provide the additional $1000 per month.
We consider those who join us in prayer and finances as part of our ministry team. If we had 10 people join us at $100 a month we would be fully financially supported as a family. No gift is too small, and we are thankful for every donation that we have received. We are also growing our prayer team because we understand prayer is a vital foundation for everything we do in life and in ministry. Prayer Requests:
~ Pray for grace in learning how to parent Sophia and for her overall health and safety as she is learning to walk. She has a cyst on her left hand that we are hoping will go down.
~ Kelli's hands and wrists have had inflammation and tendonitis since the pregnancy. 
~ We are thankful to report that Kelli's feet are feeling much better than they were a few months ago.
~ Pray for revelation, inspiration and timing as Kelli writes her books.
~ Pray for time management and wisdom as Kelli and Adam work from home while raising a little one.
~ Pray for more regular and monthly partners to join us as our family and budget has grown.
~ Safety as we travel and minister in many different places.
~ Protection, growth and favor in our marriage and family.
~ Pray for the Lord to open doors to build a larger
   community of friends in Kansas City.
~ Ask the Lord to guide Adam as he seeks to disciple
   some young men on a regular basis, including the men's discipleship group.
~ Pray that the Lord will continue to teach us to hear His
   voice and follow. We want to live with excellence
   and obedience.
~ Pray for the Lord to help us use the skills we have been given to advance His Kingdom.
