We started our 14 day journey with our five person team by traveling a little over 25 hours to get to Kenya. The Lord gave grace for all of us as we journeyed and tried to adjust to our new time zone. When we landed in Nairobi we were able to have a night of rest at our hotel and enjoy stretching our legs!
The conferences were held western Kenya in an area close to Kisii called Marani and south Central Kenya in Githurai, which is just east of the capital city of Nairobi. We ministered to approximately 100 leaders and pastors between the two cities. We saw the Lord move powerfully with several healings and strengthened the attendees through the teachings. Our teachings were on healing, how to study the Bible, biblical finances, unity, discipleship, destiny and more. In both locations we held evangelistic crusades daily where we preached the Gospel and lead people to salvation. On the last day of the crusade in Marani we had over 20,0000 people show up to hear about Jesus! We saw around 3,500 people make decisions for Christ and connect to local churches, and there were also 27 documented healings. We will be posting many more pictures on our website and Facebook soon. Your prayers and financial partnership are changing lives for eternity around the world, and may the Lord pour out His blessings upon you richly!
We are so blessed to be doing what the Lord has called us to both here and around the world. Thank you for believing in us and joining in the adventure of advancing the Kingdom!
September Update
This month has been full of traveling and it has flown by. After getting back from Kenya we had about a week to readjust and get back into the swing of things here stateside. We headed up to Illinois to spend time with supporters, family, and friends. We had a couple of get-togethers where we shared pictures, testimonies and stories of what the Lord did through our team and your prayers in Kenya. While in Illinois we also celebrated Adam's dad Kevin's 60th birthday in Morton with a big surprise of his sister and her boyfriend flying in from Portland. We all enjoyed time together at the annual Morton Pumpkin Festival celebrating the beginning of fall and as many things pumpkin as you can imagine! Morton is called the "pumpkin capital of the world" because 80% of the world's canned pumpkin is made in town, and we were able to connect with many friends and family while in the area. I (Kelli) was able to be a part and celebrate at our niece Bre's bridal shower for her upcoming wedding in January. It really was a packed week for sure!
We were in Kansas City for about 12 hours before heading to Colorado for our first Plumbline Retreat. There are around 25 people coming from across the U.S. to join us in a time of teaching, fellowship, seeking the Lord and relaxing at a natural hot spring in Nathrop near Buena Vista. It will definitely be a wonderful time seeing friends we have met through the ministry from the different regions from September 23rd-25th. After returning from Colorado we have a one day break before some of the Plumbline staff head up to Rochester, Minnesota for a Global Legacy Conference that Plumbline will be ministering to pastors and leaders from all over the upper Midwest region.
Upcoming Ministry in Peoria and Granite City
We are planning on ministering up in Granite City near St. Louis the 23rd-25th of October, so mark your calendars if you are in the area. The weekend before Thanksgiving (November 20th-22nd) we will ministering in Peoria at multiple locations. We will be sending out more information in the next few weeks, so stay tuned.
