Sunglasses and Sass!
We kicked off the month of April celebrating Kelli’s birthday with a nice dinner out and having a group of our friends over to our house. We have been able to enjoy the nice weather outside in our yard, at parks and at the KC Zoo. Sophia likes to run, splash in her pool, play in the sprinkler, blow bubbles, go down slides and to swing. Everyday she is getting bigger and learning more. She loves to talk and says more real words all the time. We have quite the fearless girl and she has found a new love for climbing anything and everything. In other news and after many conversations, we sold our SUV and have joined the ranks of parenthood in our “new” minivan :)
Towards the end of the April Plumbline ministered twice at the Kansas City Evangelist’s Fellowship on the topic of prophetic evangelism. There were many people who came to both meetings and were blessed by the teaching and ministry time.

At the beginning of May Adam and several staff members from Plumbline went to Rochester, Minnesota and were blessed to hear Danny Silk (pictured above) teach on leadership, relationships and healthy community. We also celebrated the National Day of Prayer a few days later, joining with thousands of groups praying across the country.

Money Smart: Focus & Freedom Seminar

We will cover strategies that will be beneficial for anyone, including the following scenarios: Living paycheck to paycheck, having trouble seeing eye to eye with your spouse about finances, a Dave Ramsey fan, a penny pincher or even those that are their way to becoming millionaires!
AMENITIES: There will be door prizes and refreshments. There is no admission cost for the event, and an offering will be taken to help cover the expenses and bless the ministry team.

Do you desire to grow in your ability to hear the Lord? Are you wrestling with questions like “Can I hear God and grow in effective prophetic ministry?” You are not alone. This training is going to look at the power of prophetic ministry and how to grow in it.
~ We are going to look at Jesus’ prophetic ministry and how to grow in it.
~ Practical models for today’s prophetic ministry.
~ Cultivating the power of faith to prophesy.
~ Developing spiritual gifts
Each session will be biblically-based, ministry will be modeled and there will be hands-on time of praying for one another. We will take time to answer questions and discuss feedback as we grow in hearing God’s voice together.
There is no admission cost for the event, and an offering will be taken to help cover the expenses and bless the ministry team.

Partnership Update for May
We had a few new partners join us and some stop, so we are maintaining around 70% of our monthly budget pledged. We are still asking the Lord to provide the additional $1000 per month.
We consider those who join us in prayer and finances as part of our ministry team. If we had 10 people join us at $100 a month we would be fully financially supported as a family. No gift is too small, and we are thankful for every donation that we have received. We are also growing our prayer team because we understand prayer is a vital foundation for everything we do in life and in ministry. Please read the detailed information about giving options on our Giving Page.

~ Pray for grace in learning how to parent Sophia and for her overall health and safety as she explores everything and has feet that go faster than her coordination.
~ The cyst on her left hand is almost completely gone now, so thank you for praying.
~ Kelli's hands and wrists are feeling better.
~ We are thankful to report that Kelli's feet are feeling much better than they were a few months ago.
~ Pray for revelation, inspiration and timing as Kelli writes her books.
~ Pray for time management and wisdom as Kelli and Adam work from home while raising a little one.
~ Pray that the Lord will help us to be gracious and patient with one another and Sophia.
~ Pray for more regular and monthly partners to join us as our family and budget has grown.
~ Safety as we travel and minister in many different places.
~ Protection, growth and favor in our marriage and family.
~ Pray for the Lord to open doors to build a larger
community of friends in Kansas City.
~ Ask the Lord to guide Adam as he seeks to disciple
some young men on a regular basis, including the men's discipleship group.
