Colorado Retreat, Upcoming Illinois Trip & More!

Our family getting ready for dinner during the Plumbline retreat in Buena Vista, Colorado.September & October Recap
We spent over two weeks traveling in the month of September. Our journey began in Illinois, and it was a combination of ministry and fun. We ministered at several different places including a Plumbline seminar at the Dream Center, speaking at Oasis Church in Creve Coeur, ministering at a leadership gathering and a sharing at a Bible study. Kelli and I are learning how to minister as a team and switch off taking care of Sophia. The Morton Pumpkin Festival was a great time of connecting with friends, visiting family and enjoying the foods and cider slushes that remind us of home. Sophia enjoyed meeting new people, watching the parade and spending time with all of her beloved grandparents and family members. She is learning how to crawl at a rapid pace and pulls up onto her feet every day, which means that we are busy chasing our mobile child :)

We had a pit stop in KC before traveling to Colorado for a Plumbline Renewal Community retreat. We spent time fellowshipping, enjoying the natural hot springs and praying for one another. There were over 20 people that joined us, and over half of the Plumbline staff was able to attend. During the drive out and back we saw the changing of the Aspen trees pictured above, which light up entire mountainsides like they are ablaze with gold! Our friends Terry & Geri hosted us in Denver on our way to the retreat and a few days following, which was truly a blessing. We were also grateful to visit our niece, her fiancé and a few friends in Denver before we made our way back to Kansas City.
On October 8th we hosted a seminar in Kansas City on Awakening the Prophetic, and the response was very positive. The men's group that I have been leading is going well, and we have really grown together as friends and brothers in Christ. I am also currently intentionally mentoring a few young men in person and over the phone, and it is a blessing to see the Lord moving in their lives. Kelli's parents came down to KC for a visit, and we had a fun time tooling around the city, working on a few projects and hanging out together.

World of Dreams One-Day Seminar
Saturday, November 12th: 10:00AM - 3:00PM
Dream Center Peoria
Picture
- Does God speak to us through dreams?
- How do we learn to understand what our dreams mean?
- Can we understand the symbolism that God uses in dreams?

All people have dreams, but what is the distinction between dreams from the Lord and dreams of our soul? In this seminar we lay the biblical foundation for dreams, the many different ways that they come and how to interpret them in a very basic and practical way so that we can understand our dreams from the Lord.

Director Brian Fenimore and the Plumbline Ministries team will help you grow in understanding dreams and how the Lord speaks to us through dreams. Each of these seminars are designed to progressively build and equip believers in the area of hearing God's voice and to reach a greater stature of Christ’s character and ministry.

AMENITIES: There is no admission cost for the event, and an offering will be taken to help cover the expenses and bless the ministry team.

Do you struggle in hearing the voice of the Lord? If you do hear God, do you feel like you are able to minister effectively? Do you believe that God is even able to minister prophetically in this day and age?

Plumbline Ministries director Brian Fenimore will be presenting this simple yet biblical concept of hearing the voice of the Lord and ministering to people with the Father’s love.

This night of ministry will be held at Oasis Church, which is led by Joe and Angela Hawkins.

Partnership Update for November
We have 70% of our monthly budget pledged, and we are needing to raise an additional $1000 per month. We consider those who join us in prayer and finances as part of our ministry team. If we had 10 people join us at $100 a month we would be fully financially supported as a family. No gift is too small, and we are thankful for every donation that we have received. We are also growing our prayer team because we understand prayer is a vital foundation for everything we do in life and in ministry. Please read the detailed information about giving options on our Giving Page.
